Is it true?? Yes!! We can hardly belive it ourselves! After 3 years of struggle and 3000 problems, the new album " The Meaning of Life" by the Liptones is finally done and on print!! 12 stomping ska songs that will kick your ass delivered in a nice digipack made by L.A artist Darren Grealish who have worked with Iggy Pop,The Hives and Stevie Wonder to name a few!

The Album will also be released on vinyl as well! Releasedate soon to come! We´re also back in the studio and so far drums and bass is done for 11 new songs sung in swedish!

Sorry for the lack of updates this spring bur there havent been anything to report couse we have been waiting for the contract to be done...and that took a few moths.
The mastertape and the cover will go on print i June so hopefully the cd will be out in in July!

During the spring we also have wrote 6-7 new songs with swedish lyrics that we will start to record in August for a possible EP ,so watch out for that one!

We can also tell you that from now on,all of our cd:s and ep:s and singles are out on Spotify, iTunes and all the other stream/downloadsites!

Our new album" The Meaning Of Life" is recorded,mastered and done! So where is it? Well..slow down,right now we´re working on where it´s going to be relesed so hold on just a little bit more. It´s well worth waiting for,i can tell you that!!

We can also tell you don´t have to wait 4 more years til the next Liptone release, cause right now we´re writing material for a new EP that will be sung in swedish! So far almost all the songs is finished so,a few more hours in the garage and then it´s time for the studio again! We´re also working on the festival season so we can kick your skanking ass this summer again!! cheers!

The new Liptones album is almost finished now! It sounds awsome! Now we´re going to work on the cover and stuff so hold on just a little bit more!

We have also teamed up with the company "Swedish Merch" that are working on a brand new collection of clothes and stuff that you soon can buy from this site! We´re also working on to have all our albums on Spotify!

Bad news is that the "Kris Festival" in Lindesberg is cancelled but we have some new shows instead that we hope you´ll come to! See you there,Cheers!

Yepp...no´t the fastest working band in the world as you may know by now but THE LIPTONES is definitely not sleeping!

2008 was a great year for us with the release of " The Liptones Rockumentary", great liveshows and festivals topped by a great gig at the Mighty Sounds festival in Czech Republik!

Unfortanly the fall turned out to be full of monthlong diseases and some other shit but now we´re back writing more songs to our new full length album that we´re planning to release this spring/summer! So long 7 songs is recorded. We´re also happy to tell you that we teamed up with "Klassenfahrt Booking" in Germany that takes care of bands like The Toasters, Tokyo ska paradise orchestra among others! Gigs and Festivals is being booked as we speak so watch out for a great 2009 with your favourite band, the almighty: BON JOVI!.....fuck...sorry...THE LIPTONES!!!!!

Right now The Liptones is in the studio recording 5 new songs to our next album!
We will however record about 10 more songs before it´s finished, so hold on!

We´re also happy to announce that we´re will play at the Mighty sound Festival in Praha on July th 18th. Don´t forget the Liptones 10 years anniversary at Underground in Skövde on May the 30th..there will be some guestapperencies and songs we never played live before + the rockumentary relese!!
